Time has come to sell my V Special, these are getting a bit hard to find now in original unmolested condition, I did want to keep this for my daily car but need to gain a bit of space and cash back so sadly it has to go.
It's a V Special model which comprises of wooden Nardi steering wheel, wooden Nardi gearknob and wooden handbrake sleeve, along with deep pile brown v special mats and vlsd diff.
The paint work is good and shines up well, the cam cover and inlet manifold has been polished at some point which has now dulled off a bit, the original daisy wheels that have been refurbished and in great condition, kyb agx shock all round too, had a couple of calipers recently and exhaust, also the roof is like brand new and have a receipt for it in the paperwork.
All sill drains have been cleaned out, it has had some rust in the past but has all been stopped in its tracks and isn't too bad for a mx5, I got it off a old bloke who had it for about 11 years and did 7k in it, think it has a bit of rust at the bottom of the passenger wing at some point which he has put a patch over, rear sills are pretty good and inner arches are very good also.
The passenger window doesn't work (makes noise and started to move but I don't want to break it so didn't bother), drivers seat has a bit of wear and all the wood could do with re varnishing, other than that there is noticing else that I know of wrong with it, drives real nice and looks real good and very original little 5.
Ive just put it through an mot, which runs out 03/05/18 and have fitted new top ball joint cover, new lower ball joints and new track rod ends.
After £1400, it's in West Sussex and if you have any questions just ask.
