1981 Lancia 2.0 Twin Cam - Manual - Lovely to drive. SOLD
In addition all the ball joints have been replaced, and discs with new pads all round.
The wee Lancia has not long passed its MOT - approx 11 months left.
The work was not carried out by me but I have had it inspected and it’s been confirmed the mechanical aspects of the car are very good.
The car was also painted by the previous owner, not perfect, but it still is a nice looking car with no rust and cleans up very well.
The graphics were not really to my taste but they have grown on me and well I suppose it is part of the appeal - the rally look.
Since my ownership - over a year ago now - the car has been stored in a heated car show room and has had some fettling by the on-site mechanic, many items tightened, replaced, over spray removed, new plugs etc.
Due to working away and as I have other vehicles and my reluctance to use it in the wet it is only driven rarely.
However I can say it’s selling point is how it drives, lovely and tight with a responsive accelerator with quick precise steering. This is my first old Lancia but I have never been disappointed in the drive.
It has some small faults, the seat belts are a bit sticky but they do work, the passenger door doesn’t lock, and on occasion the indicator relay makes a noise but this is rare.
So this is a ready to use old Lancia, quick, easy to use in modern traffic and only for sale as it’s almost become an ornament and I have other cars/ bikes I need to focus on.
