After much deliberation I have decided to sell my pride and joy. I have owned my Ford Granada 2.0L for 20 years. This car is tax and MOT exempt. However I still get the car tested and it has a valid MOT until 30th April 2019. The car is a 2.0 OHC L, manual variant finished in Roman Bronze. It was registered in September 1977 making it one of the very last of the MK1s. Being an ‘L’ spec makes it unusual as most people kept the higher spec models. The car has 107k miles. I am the sixth owner of the car, the previous owner purchased the car in 1987 and sold it to me in 1998. The car is mainly used for shows and club meets and the odd drive out in the summer months. The car comes with a stack of paperwork including receipts and old MOTs.
New brake master cylinder

Brake calipers replaced about 6 years ago
New carburetor purchased from Webcon purchased 25-5-2013

The car was taken off the road 2001-2003 when it was restored following some light accident damage which resulted in damage to the front valance and driver’s wing. I used the time to replace the rusty panels, front valance, front wings, front doors and O/S rear wing. I then had the car resprayed in its original Roman Bronze.
Car has recently been serviced with replacement oil and air filters. Coolant has been replaced with fresh anti-freeze
Windscreen rubber could benefit from being replaced (available from MotoMobil)
Rust patch on rear O/S door
Small rust bubble on O/S arch
Tyre's are serviceable but are date stamped 2004.
Sills will need replacing in the next few years.
Age related breaks (Fully functional but are of 70’s technology)
Original seats replaced with GXL seats. Note there is a spring gone in the driver’s seat.
Paint work is good but there are tell-tale signs that it has been resprayed. There are a couple of runs on the valances.
Would benefit from a good Waxoyl
Overall a presentable, classic car which will only appreciate in value. I have enjoyed owning it and have many fond memories.
