Offered here is a 1953 Jaguar XK120 Roadster in L/H Drive. Jaguars celebration of the end of the second world war - a car capable of 120MPH - the fastest available - designed to win rallies, hill climbs and club races in its standard form. With further development by Jaguar to claim the coveted 24hrs Le Mans many times at an average speed of over 100MPH. In 1947 most XK120's were ordered by Americans and this XK120 offered here is no different.
This Jaguar spent 60 years of its life in America's West away from salty roads. The panels are thought to be mainly original - as are the major mechanical parts which the heritage certificate confirms. The centre-lock wire-spoke Dunlop wheels are the only(most popular) "Extra" added to this particular XK120. The hood is tan and VGC.
Whilst no driving records are available for this XK120, coined "Snowball", the gearbox is good to use, the axle is silent and the engine sounds just perfect. A proud new owner may look into investing in the under bonnet aesthetics.
