SALE AGREED WWII Jeep Ford GPW (Script Jeep) 1942 For Sale

SALE AGREED

Ford GPW 'Script' Jeep.

Manufactured March 1942, i. e. it is from the first month of pure Ford GPW using Ford Chassis (followed the interim model which used a Willys chassis).

I looked at over 20 jeeps before I found this one, which has been restored with almost obsessive attention to detail, down to even tiny parts, with every possible part 'F' stamped (Ford 'F' mark)

Beautifully restored, no rust whatsoever.
As good a jeep as you will ever see.

This is an early 'script' jeep, (Large Ford Script logo stamped in rear panel, later jeeps didn't have the stamping).

Lovely jeep, starts easily, very good oil pressure hot and cold, perfect gearbox which doesn't jump out of second like many, drives perfectly, and mechanically very quiet.

All five wheels are combat type, with embossed warning labels, metal valve covers etc. with 5 matching correct 'Ford' embossed tyres as original.
Original manufacturer hood and winter side screens (unused and as new), tool kit in bag, correct jack and collapsible bucket, starting handle, pioneering tools (shovel and axe) and rope, British army Bussel (removable rack for the rear) all included.
Painted in 1942 style 'Mickey Mouse' British army camouflages per a 1942 'lend-lease' jeep.
Dashboard carbine gun rack with rare canvass cover.
Canvas windscreen cover.
Waxoyled underneath.
This is a stunning jeep inside, out and underneath.
I have the full history of where it went and its post war life, luckily it was in a dry salt free environment most of its life, so has not been ravaged by rust.

Historic (free) tax, MOT exempt, cheap insurance (costs me £80 fully comprehensive a year) and ready to use.

I have more pictures which I can email to serious buyers who supply contact details.

Please ring for more details, pictures etc

Thanks
