1960 TR3a originally LHD. Nut and bolt restoration by a previous owner around 20 years ago. Converted to RHD rack and pinion. The restorer also replaced the TR3a nose cone with a TR2/3 version.
Very solid car and no rust. Overdrive. I recently rebuilt the engine following a "figure of 8 gasket" failure. New bearing shells uprated crank oil seal head resurfaced etc.
Regrettably for sale as my circumstances have changed and I can no longer justify keeping this lovely car.
Car currently on SORN. Car starts but needs tuning as running unevenly. If I can find the time I'll arrange for this but I'm advertising her now with no MOT (last passed two years ago with no advisories) and only a few tens of miles on the clock since then.
The car is non-standard in many ways. Push button start replaced with steering lock and key start for example. Completely rewired with relays. Immobiliser and alarm fitted Extensively undersealed. She has a white fibreglass hard top and a new white soft top.
